Kate Friday joined Advantage Healthcare Inc. in August of 2007 as Senior Director, following 11 years of experience in marketing pharmaceuticals on both the client and service sides. Kate is managing projects that cross therapeutic areas and functions, including marketing, new product analysis, market research, and training.
Most recently, Kate was an Associate Director in US marketing at Schering-Plough where she launched 2 new indications, led the brand team in a rebranding and repositioning exercise, and supervised market research, message development, promotional material development, plan of action sales meetings, sales communications, regional advisory board meetings, sales training modules, e-detailing, and speakers bureau programs supporting her product.
Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Kate was a Product Manager at Biovail Pharmaceuticals. Before joining Biovail, Kate was a Brand Manager at Yamanouchi Pharma America, managing the prelaunch activities for a novel, first-in-class hospital product. Kate spent the previous 5 years at Baxter Healthcare in positions of increasing responsibility, from Speaker Bureau Supervisor to Associate Product Manager to Product Manager. Kate began her pharmaceutical career on the service side at Health Education Technologies where she developed a National Speaker's Bureau for promotional and non-promotional programs.
Kate holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
